I am as passionate about creating engaging learning experiences as I am about learning new things. At the Savannah College of Art and Design, I majored in animation; since then, I've also studied graphic and instructional design, technical writing, and education.
While living abroad in Mexico and later Taiwan, I worked as an educator for English language learners and, as a result of those rewarding experiences, I continued educating in a public elementary school near Seattle. During the transition to virtual learning, my interest in incorporating technology into learning peaked, and I realized the opportunity to continue growing myself by designing instructional content.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to learn about different cultures and viewpoints through art, food, language, history, and interesting discussions. No matter where I am—on the street, in a museum, or outside in nature—there is always something to discover and admire.
